Treatment of chronic lymphoid leukemia (CLL) in B cells in patients with sufficient bone marrow reserves. First-line treatment should only be initiated in patients in the advanced stage of the disease, Rai stage III/IV (Binet stage C) or Rai stage I/II (Binet stage A/B) when the patient has symptoms associated with the disease or a progressing disease.
