RESPYFOR 12 µg BT 60

1/ Continuous symptomatic treatment of asthma and other reversible obstructive pulmonary diseases:

- in patients requiring daily doses of short-acting, rapid-acting beta2 agonists,

- and/or in the event of nocturnal symptoms, in combination with continuous anti-inflammatory treatment such as inhaled corticosteroids.

2/ Preventive treatment of exercise-induced asthma.

N.B.: formoterol is not a treatment for asthma attacks. In the event of an asthma attack, use a short-acting, rapid-acting beta2 mimetic by inhalation or, depending on the severity, by injection.

This speciality is particularly suitable for subjects in whom poor hand/lung synchronisation has been demonstrated, which is necessary for the correct use of conventional metered-dose inhalers without an inhalation chamber.
